Lesson Schedule

Changing Lesson Day/Time:

  • Paying tuition guarantees your very specific time slot for the whole quarter. It’s your choice whether or not you use that very specific time slot, with the exception of illness. Prioritize wisely as not all lessons you miss, are guaranteed to be made-up.
  • If you need to change your lesson slot, you will need to choose from openings available. See below.
  • If you’re unable to find an opening that works with your schedule change, no refunds or credit will be offered if you must discontinue lessons.

Missed Lessons & Make-up Lessons

  • Because the studio runs on a tuition model and not a fee per lesson model, tuition will not be reduced if you know you’ll miss lessons in advance (when registering for the upcoming quarter). You can opt for a makeup. Consider all the extras you’re provided besides the lesson time alone.
  • If you miss it, you miss it. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed and are offered only when I have availability during my teaching schedule (see below). It’s possible that not all lessons you miss will be made up. On the extremely rare occasion that I need to cancel a lesson, it will be made up or credited.
  • How make-ups work: You will fill out an availability sheet. When another family cancels their lesson that matches your availability, I will notify you to schedule a makeup. You can also request a makeup during the open slots in my schedule. You can also attend small group classes and use makeup credits in lieu of paying the tuition. See schedule below.
  • Make-up week occurs each August: If you still need a make-up by then end of summer, you’ll attend at your regular lesson time during makeup week. If you have additional make-ups you may attend a second (or third, etc) lesson that week. If you’re not available during make-up week, I will do my best to schedule your make-up in advance but I cannot guarantee it.
  • Makeups don’t roll into the new studio year and must be used by the end of makeup week.
  • If you choose to not use your makeup credits, no refund or credit will be applied to your tuition. It’s not a requirement to make-up missed lessons, some families opt to forgo makeups when they miss lessons.
  • Make-ups/credits/refunds are not offed for missed group classes.

*Make-up slots available on Wednesdays except for the 2nd Wednesday of each month when we have big group class at the church—-individual lessons cannot be held at the church. Check with me first for availability—-I may have personal appointments scheduled or makeups already scheduled.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday Lessons:

I do not offer lessons on these days. The studio is closed.
